Hello, It was a very good documentary that you produced. Its good to obtain the opinions of various people. However my personal belief is that I think nuclear is safe to be used, its just that I am not very confident in Malaysians handling nuclear, given to track record that we have. However, I think the issue of safety is well addressed, and I feel it is not a real threat to our health. Thus I think the government should make the bold move and go for NPP.
the video is very interesting. as a malaysian im ready to have a power plant in my country. its a good way to stop global warming. malaysia should not wait till 2021, they should work hard to get it done asap.
First of all, good job on the interviews. Now we can see different types of opinion on nuclear power. I agree with Dr Faris that professional and experienced people should be the one running the NPP. Nuclear is no kid toys, thus we need it to be handle as careful as possible to avoid disaster to occur.
Another thing is, i do not agree with the Master Student. Yes we can look into other renewable energy sources such as solar, hydro, wind and etc but we should start on Nuclear now. I think our science and technology is capable enough to handle nuclear energy. We should not wait for the future generation as our natural resources would not last any longer.
Yes, we should start from secondary or even primary school to spread public awareness on nuclear. They are the future leaders of this country. By convincing them from the start on the benefits of nuclear, i think there wont be a problem in the future regarding the ''phobia of Nuclear''.
Great documentary. I also believe that Malaysia can support a nuclear power plant, but I'm a little concerned on the management as well. The public will surely protest given their current knowledge on nuclear power. Start the awareness campaigns now, educate the young and the old. If not, everyone won't accept nuclear power until the end of time.
hello go npp..... i'm thinking that malaysia are fully ready for the new challenge which is the nuclear sector... malaysian can handle the sector with the guidance and monitoring from the expert like russia, usa ,japan and any othe nuclear country...
